About Our Tandoori Fish

Tandoori Fish is a testament to the versatility of Punjab's beloved tandoor cooking method. At United Punjab Eatery & Grill, we use fresh, high-quality fish fillets that are first marinated in a mixture of yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and a blend of traditional Punjabi spices including ajwain (carom seeds), which pairs beautifully with seafood.

The marinated fish is then coated in spiced gram flour (besan) batter and placed in our extremely hot clay tandoor. The intense heat sears the outside creating a slight char while keeping the inside moist and flaky. The result is a smoky, aromatic dish that's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside – a perfect representation of Punjabi coastal cuisine.
